Accounting Assistant
Location: Central Islip
Key Responsibilities Include:
- QuickBooks- Years of experience most required: 1-2
 - Utilize QuickBooks software for financial operations
 - Channel Online/ ConnectWise software knowledge a plus.
 - General Ledger posting debits/credits
 - Maintain and record vendor invoices.
 - New Vendor must get W9 and banking information.
 -  Reconcile and verify Vendor bills
 -  Reconcile and balance Vendor accounts monthly
 -  Furnish Vendor with Resales Certificates
 -  Obtain Certificates of Insurance upon Client request
 -  Product Billing
 -  Input Client Invoices
 -  Manage accounts receivable processes for dozen accounts for collections.
 -  Furnish new Clients with W9 and banking for auto payments
 -  Obtain Certificates of Insurance upon Client request
 -  Credit Card review and reconciliation (Weekly and Monthly)
 -  Sales Tax processing a plus – – Aid in tax preparation activities
 -  Vendor Account reconciliation weekly and month end
 -  Maintain, check, and balance records for accuracy.
 -  Type and file vouchers, invoices, statements, reports and maintain records.
 -  Assist with accounting related projects
 -  Process and apply credits
 -  Adjust client accounts as needed
 -  Organize and file all applicable paperwork.
